JavaScript window.opener is null, working with WebBrowser control in WinForm

i have a Pop up from a WebBrowser in my WinForm application. When I want to call javascript function with window.opener in my pop up. I get window.opener is null.
When I have run as administrator my WinForm application. Everything working well.
Is there any problem with set to permission?

Microsoft Edge compatibility issue
I'm one of the developers of the website https://www.tootukassa.ee. Suddenly we have received quite a lot of complaints about customers being unable to use our website with Microsoft Edge because they get an error message: "You’ve stumbled upon some vintage web tech". The reason seems to be that the website is added to Microsoft Cloud CV List (reason code 3). Message disappears and website turns fully functional after unchecking "Use Microsoft Compatibility List" flag from MS Edge Developer settings. Unfortunately this is not a satisfying solution for our customers!
It is very hard to determine reason why the page is added to CV list and what to do to get removed from the list - especially when the message does not disappear instantaneously while making some code improvements.
Our website is using jQuery and jQuery UI which are using some deprecated browser sniffing methods likenavigator.userAgent. Can this be the root cause of incompatibility? Or has anybody got any idea of what could be the cause?

We have created a Word AddIns program and there we are opening the same page in “Browser Control”,but when we are launching another page by window.open, we are not getting “window.opener” object and it is showing null in debug mode.And because of that our further process got aborted.

Already Attempted: -
I tried to search on the internet all the ways but didn’t find anything useful. In an article, I found that it is describing to run word as administrator. I checked and I got surprised that it was working fine.
But it won’t be possible to give administrator permission to all the 1000+ Users for running the program. (It will not be allowed on the client)
Kindly let us know if we can provide some specific permission besides administrator permission to the user or any other way to get “window.opener” object. It is critical for the application.

But when we save the the pdf from the viewer in IE ,it saves as Downlaod.pdf(where Download is the servlet name)
The same usecase works fine in other browsers(chrome) by saving with the actual filename.pdf using the Content-Dispostion
Need help on this for IE browser.

CSS Filter in Microsoft Edge
There is a rendering issue with CSS filter when I enable this experimental feature in MS Edge on Windows 10.
Let me make an example:
- a site with huge content that is scrollable
- element with CSS filter & position of fixed
What happened in edge:
- the filtered element has display problem, and is not fixed

Media Source Extensions (MSE) - EDGE - Popping Sound
Hi,
I'm using Media Source Extensions (MSE) to playback video streams on the browser.
The source stream is in FMP4 format. Boxes/Atoms are sent over in the following sequence:
- FTYPE + MOOV
- MOOF
- MDAT
- MOOF
- MDAT
- ...
- ... and so on until the user grows tired and stops streaming.
The stream contains two tracks: video and audio.
Each MOOF box is designed to contain only one video and/or audio sample. Subsequently, each MDAT will only contain 1 video and/or audio sample depending on the MOOF.
When the player client starts receiving the data, it first waits to receive the FTYP and MOOV boxes, which it then feeds to the SourceBuffer. It it waits to receive the MOOF and MDAT, and then writes the MOOF+MDAT to the sourcebuffer, and so on and so forth.
Playback works okay with Chrome (68) and FireFox(62.0b11).
Unfortunately, I cannot say the same for MS Edge (42.17134.1.0). On Edge, the video plays back okay, but I get faint popping sounds on the audio. The audio popping does not occur on Chrome and FireFox.
Strangely enough, when I dump the same stream data to a file, and try to play that file directly in Edge, the audio popping goes away! I only get the audio popping when streaming using MSE on Edge.
Any idea what's causing this?
Is there a problem with who the MOOF+MDAT is structured? (i.e. one video and/or audio sample per MOOF+MDAT)

ASP Classic - Transaction timeout configuration

I couldn't find any information about how to extend / shorten the transaction timeout for an ASP classic transaction.
I'm starting my transactions with this code :
<%@ TRANSACTION = Required %>
And then handling the result with
OnTransactionCommit()
And
OnTransactionAbort()
I've found how to do what I want for ASP.NET all over the web, but there doesn't seem to be any information about ASP classic.
I know it's a language as dead as Latin, but still, some old applications still use it, and the lack of information make it such a pain to maintain :/

IE 11 New session is not opening
IE 11 New Session is not working.. which means that we are able to open IE, IE with New windows/Multiple Tabs that are all working fine. when we try to open New session which is not opening. How do I resolve it?
We tried the below things, still not working.
- Suspected on July 2018 patches and Removed all July security patches ( OS, IE , .Net framework) one by one and verified that it’s not working
- Observed that SessionMerging/FrameMerging Registry keys are enabled on user PC. It was disabled by changing the value. (https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/previous-versions/windows/internet-explorer/ie-developer/general-info/hh826025(v=vs.85))
- Ran iediagcmd.exe ( Internet Explorer Diagonostic Tool)
- Reset IE setting and Restore Advance Setting

FEATURE_BROWSER_EMULATION code for IE11
I'm using WebBrowser control and I use FEATURE_BROWSER_EMULATION to define the emulation mode. In MSDN page I do not find code for IE11 version

I create pen on codepen. But when I checked it in IE, that IE doesn't work well with codepen. I tried different pens of other people in IE and it failed everytime.

Html Spell Check not working properly in IE11
Hi,
I have implemented spell checker of html5 using spellcheck="true" attribute and its working in IE when er type the text, but if we refresh the page and come back and focus on the text area the spell check is not done unless i press space in IE 11. other browsers are working fine. is there a alternative or is this the default behavior of IE 11 with this attribute?
