After installing IE11 a few problems cropped up.
1. Skype leaves a dead icon in the system tray after right-click->quit. The icon cannot be removed and is useless. If Skype is started again, a new active icon is in systray but becomes a dead one after close. Reboot is only way to remove these.
2. Weather Exchange /Ambient Weather would open but would not download any of the remote temperatures.
Removing IE11 (reverted back to IE9) and thing are corrected.
Anyone else seen this?
