I have just purchased a digital certificate and digitally signed my installer.exe, but my customers are still receiving this rather scary message every time they download my app. This is potentially scaring away many customers which for a new software startup is a huge deal. How can I pass the reputation checks? The installer is virus checked and signed, as I say, and the software is a standard Windows Forms application.
