Why this iframe with pdf file source is not working in IE11 windows 8?

Hi,

Please help me out to resolve this issue with iframe  in Windows8-IE11.

I have an iframe with src="sample.pdf" file in a samplepage.aspx . I want to show the *.pdf file in that page. Its shows as blank and always ask for download in IE11 when page refreshes. Please help me out to resolve this..
