Issue with IE11: Page works when the site is added to compatibility view setting but not if the X-UA-Compatible meta tag

<p>Hi ,</p><p>I am using metatag to make the site compatible for IE 11. </p><pre class="prettyprint">&lt;HEAD&gt; &lt;meta http-equiv="x-ua-compatible" content="IE=7" &gt; &lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;</pre><p>The controls are not working as expected. But when i add the site to compatibility view settings manually. The site renders properly.&nbsp;</p><p>Please suggest how to handle compatibility view settings through Meta tag.</p><p>Regards,</p><p>Meghana</p><p></p>
