Window status is not clearing in IE 11

Hi,

If i give WindowStatus ="123"  it is working fine in IE 8 and IE11.

but if i try to clear it by giving WindowStatus = " " , it is working in IE8

but it is not working in IE11 the status is still apperaing as 123.

we are trying to do this in java script.

Can anyone please provide solution on this..
