I have a few web applications that, in Internet Explorer 8, when file links were clicked, the files would automatically open. In Internet Explorer
11, when links are clicked, the user is prompted to open, save or cancel. The file types range from text files to PDFs to Excel etc.... so it's not just a single file type and appears to be across the board. I have tried the "Do not save encrypted pages"
as well as enabling and disabling enhanced protected mode already. I've also tried setting the AttachementExecute registry keys, even though the associations are already set, but that has not helped either. Can anyone lend some insight into other things to
test? I am thinking this must be code related as not all websites give the prompt, even within the same zone.
