Hi,

I have an ASP.NET2.0 page, which is opened by javascript window (window.showModalDialog). After postback, it displays with a javascript confirm dialog, which is inserted by ASP.NET -> RegisterClientScript.

However, IE9.0 displays black blade at the bottom of the page randomly when displaying confirm dialog (e.g. ID 't6123123 created!').

IE Version: 9.0.36

Java Version: 8.40

Page Setting:

1) <body .... background='../bg.bmp'>

Action Taken:

1) Delete defective addons and perform spy-scanning.

2) Add <meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="IE=EmulateIE8" /> to the page, and changing <script lang=javascript> to <script>

3) Problem exists.

4) Reset IE / Reinstall IE, then it returns to normal for awhile.

5) after four test, it back to the problematic screen

6) after clear of activeX cache, it resume to normal.

Tested Browser: FF, IE8

Result: no problem

Is there some setting causing such irregulars?

Many thanks.
