window.external.AddFavorite method not working in Microsoft Edge

Hi,

I am using  window.external.AddFavorite(url,title) to add the favourite link in my website. While testing with Microsoft Edge Preview I found that it is not working while all fine with IE 11.

Could you please provide difference between both the browsers for this function?
