I'm on Windows 10 Version 1511 OS Build 10586.104. Earlier today I ran a performance test on our Web site, and saved the results. A few times I was able to load the saved file and continue analyzing the results. Tonight I tried to load
the diagnostic file, and it now appears that there is a file security violation (nearly all files are not shown, My Documents appears as my documents, etc.) I can still run and save performance tests, and during the save file dialog, files appear normally.
In File Explorer files appear normally, and in IE11 (not in F12) a File | Open behaves normally. It is only when I try to read a file in F12 that the security violation (if that's what this is) manifests itself. Basically, my performance tests
are "Write Only". Any ideas on how I can fix the issue and open my performance test results? Thanks...
To illustrate, the attached image shows the file | open dialog from F12 to load a previously saved diagnostic session on the left, and File Explorer of the same location on the right. The F12 file | open appears to have no access, even though it's the same user in the same location. It's almost like the file | open of F12 is logging-in as a different user, even though right-clicking in the dialog box and selecting sharing shows I am the owner of this directory, but I can'treally access anything from this dialog. Very strange...
As a side note, is there another way to open a saved diagnostic session? It would get me back to my main task, and perhaps help anyone else experiencing the same issue.
P.S. - Just tried loading the saved diagnostic session on a Windows 7 PC, and I don't see this issue...
