Microsoft support suggested me to ask question at msdn, so I'm here.
Recently Edge stopped load any web page by domain name. Instead i see "hmm.. we can't reach this page" page. At the same time other browsers do their job.
I mean I can't load any page with "http(s)://domain_name.com/etc.", but can via "http(s)"://domain_ip/etc", except that recoures can't be loaded (for example html code <script src = "http://some_domain.com..." doesn't work, the same is for redirects of course).
Some notes:
- the problem is with Edge only: other browsers (including ie 11) and apps works fine
- the problem occurs under differnt windows acounts (both types local and not)
- sfc /scannow finds problem with only 1 dll: opencl.dll and can't fix it. But as far as know this dll has no connections with network.
- reinstalling windows\refreshing is not the option
- setting any valid working proxy solve the problem - but again this is not the option.
- reinstalling ie11 and edge (following http://www.techtantri.com/how-to-reinstall-microsoft-edge-browser/ ) doesn't help
UPD:
- apps depending on edge (such as windows store) doesn't work
- changing network type to private (as mentioned for exmaple here https://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/6fb0fd01-566d-4f64-826d-3f8284e3e2a1/edge-and-windows-store-cannot-connect-to-the-internet?forum=WinPreview2014Setup ) doesn't help
- Clear browsing data doesn't help
- Creating new user account doesn't help
Any advice?
P.S. sorry for my English)
