I know basic HTML fairly well, however I've always coded natively and have not used any tools such as Web Expression or Dreamweaver. I just downloaded the free version of Web Expression and started playing with it. As a basic exercise I tried changing the font style, shape and color of some of my data. I used the tools on the toolbar at the top of the page to do this. It seemed to work, but when I looked at my file in a browser the changes weren't there.
So I tried again using the Properties table and this time it seemed to work. So my question is what is the purpose of the toolbar at the top of the page.
Sorry for such a basic question. Is there an FAQ, tutorial or help section I can go to to learn the basics?
