Edge can't access Nginx virtual hosts on Vagrant (Virtualbox) via private network. This is a problem for a lot of users (see this thread on Microsoft answers forum http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/insider/forum/insider_internet-insider_spartan/edge-not-displaying-sites-hosted-in-vagrant/41a34b7b-7d79-4866-acf3-739a9efd1680) and was available ever since Edge was released. I contacted Microsoft support a couple of times on this issue but I couldn't get a definitive response on how to deal with it or when this will be fixed. Basically, web developers that work with virtual environments like Laravel Homestead can't debug their application in Microsoft Edge locally. This a huge problem for development workflow that seems to only be alleviated by the fact that most teams still need to support IE9+ and do not care about Microsoft latest browser. I would appreciate a response from a genuine software engineer or other person who are qualified to shed a light on this. Thanks.
