Non-working delete command using IIS FTP with SSL

Hi,

I am facing the following issue when using SSL on IIS FTP.

When we are uploading 5000+ files there is no problem. When deleting 5000+ files we get disconnected (around 1500/2500 deleted items) from the server.

This only seems to happen when using SSL on the FTP server, it counts for FTP on IIS or any other FTP Server based software. Which gives me the assumption that SSL might be causing this issue for us.

Here is what I see that differs the most using the delete command for 5000+ files.
1) Non-SSL: single action/command server side for deleting all files at once.
2) SSL: action/command being used for every single file that needs to be deleted.

I’ve tried removing session time-outs and command limits from the FTP server. Unfortunately this has no effect.
What can I do to have a working environment where daily operations like these are mandatory… Any tips?

Many thanks in advance,
