I have developed a couple of WordPress Themes, available at WordPress.org.Recently I have noticed compatibility problems with the themes. Both themes work great in all other browsers.
demo1.kevinsspace.ca - It looks like IE has reverted to IE7 or IE8. The phone number should not be vertical and the buttons no longer have rounded corners.
kevinsspace.ca - the Testimonials slider should have rounded corners and be sliding. The jQuery script is not working properly.
When you go to Tools=>Compatibility View Settings and uncheck "Display intranet sites in Compatibility View" everything works fine.
The problem I have is how do I fix this so it automatically views fine. Many users of my themes will have visitors that don't know how to go in and switch this off? Is there something I can do in the code to prevent this.
I imagine this is a problem with other sites, in fact I know it is. Why hasn't Microsoft fixed this?
