We are having an issue in which our ActiveX control is being used by a particular customer in their own ActiveX control under IE11...I have an HTML page that implements the customer's ActiveX control that in turn uses our ActiveX control. The error happens specifically when the IE page is closed. Under Windows 7 we always get the message 'Internet Explorer has stopped working', with a Problem Event Name of APPCRASH and an Application Name of IEXPLORE.EXE. Under Windows 10, there is no error message, but if you click F12 and look under the console you will see the issue there. However, under Windows 10 there is no box the pops up that indicates 'Internet Explorer has stopped working' at all.
