With Microsoft Edge 44.18362.387.0, I am trying to establish a Websocket connection with my Websocket Server running on localhost.
var fullurl = "wss://localhost:8990/ws";var conn = new WebSocket(fullurl);
I get the following error.
SCRIPT12017: SCRIPT12017: WebSocket Error: SECURITY_ERR, Cross zone connection not allowed
I have run the CheckNetIsolation commands as suggested in the forums.
CheckNetIsolation LoopbackExempt -a -n="Microsoft.MicrosoftEdge_8wekyb3d8bbwe"
CheckNetIsolation LoopbackExempt -a -n="Microsoft.Windows.Spartan_cw5n1h2txyewy"
CheckNetIsolation LoopbackExempt -a -p=S-1-15-2-3624051433-2125758914-1423191267-1740899205-1073925389-3782572162-73798
I have verified that in the about:flags localhost loopback is enabled.
