Is there a way to change the default editor in  Internet Explorer from notepad to notepad++ with Windows 7?

I want File >"Edit with"  to be Notepad++  in Internet Explorer. I tried changes this in         Tools> Internet Options>Program> HTML Editing.  But Notepad++ was not an option in drop down.

Also tried Regedit> HKEY_CURRENT_USER> Software>microsoft>Internet Explorer> Default HTML Editor> shell>edit>command     then double click column to add                                      "C:\Program Files\Notepad++\Notepad++.exe"" %1"     and then refresh.

But these still did not change/add Notepad++  under Files in "Edit with".

How do I fix this or get around this problem??
