Is there any way to replace the IE11 built-in styles-sheet?
I believe the below issue is caused by IE11 built-in style-sheet when opening an XML:
I have created a large well-formed XML document and saved it on C: drive. When the file is opened in IE11, the browser display the XML file or at least the top part of the XML which fits on the screen. When I try to scroll down and view the rest of the XML, the browser load slowly and does not show the XML file format properly.
When the file size is close to a few kb, the scrolling is fast and the widow does not crash.
IE 11 suffer from this issue for larger file from for. e.g. 200KB - 2 MB, the IE1. I tested this range of sizes on Firefox and other browser but I did not experience any issues. They behave similar to small size XML in IE11.
I appreciate your input since this issue is impacting our whole application b/c in real situation, I am creating dynamic XML file and open the file in child window. The content type is set to "text/xml". When the XML file is opened, and later the user try to scroll down to see the rest of the XML, it crashes and close the parent page.
The issue does not happen in IE8 and Firefox. Please help :).
