glitch in IE 10 with input tag of type="number" (possibly only German version affected)

When an input field of type="number" with "required" attribute is used, and you click on a submit button, the German version of IE10 gives this misguiding error message: "Geben Sie ein gültiges Datum ein."

Because it's not a date field, but a number field, the message should be: "Geben Sie eine gültige Zahl ein."
(in English: "Enter a valid number" instead of "Enter a valid date")

Reproduction:
Call www.fos.de/_test/IE10ErrorInputNumber.htm
with a german version of IE 10 on a german Windows version.
Click on the submit button. The wrong german error message appears.

Can anyone forward this to the IE or localizing team? (I can't, because the IE10 feedback form fails constantly for me)
